PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND- Nine organizations, including six local businesses, will declare their support to Canada's Reserve Forces on Friday, May 23, 2008. The Honourable Barbara A. Hagerman, Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward Island, will preside over the ceremony where the organizations will sign "Declarations of Support". Organized by the Canadian Forces Liaison Council (CFLC), the ceremony will also be attended by Mr. John Craig Eaton the National Chairman of CFLC, who will be presenting certificates of appreciation to the supportive organizations. Maj.-Gen. Dennis Tabbernor, Chief Reserves and Cadets; Mr. Robert Bateman, CFLC PEI Provincial Chair, and the Honorable Robert W.J. Ghiz, Premier of PEI will also be in attendance to show their support to PEI reservists.
